1. Using Rovio
These terms govern your use of Rovio and its digital features. By using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement.
2. AI characters and content
Rovio offers fictional AI characters, conversations, image-based questions, character looks, and virtual rewards. Characters are generated experiences, not real individuals. AI responses can be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate. They are provided for general conversation and entertainment and are not professional medical, legal, financial, or emergency advice.
You are responsible for deciding how to use a response and for checking important information independently. Do not rely on Rovio for emergency assistance.
3. Responsible use
Do not use the app for unlawful activity, harassment, exploitation, impersonation, infringement of others’ rights, or attempts to bypass security or payment controls. Submit only content you have the right to use. You retain rights to your own content and permit its processing only as needed to provide the requested service, subject to the Privacy Policy and applicable provider terms.
4. Coins and digital items
Rovio offers optional coin purchases. Coins can be used for eligible in-app features, including conversations and certain character looks, at the cost displayed in the app. Review the amount, price, and feature cost before confirming a purchase or action.
Coins and character looks are virtual items for use within Rovio. They are not money, cannot be transferred or redeemed for cash, and do not represent an investment or real-world prize. Purchases and refunds are governed by the relevant store rules and applicable consumer law. Nothing in these terms removes a mandatory refund or other statutory right.
5. Membership and subscriptions
Optional membership provides the benefits and access period shown at checkout. The store purchase screen controls the applicable price, billing period, and renewal terms. Where a subscription is sold with automatic renewal, it renews unless cancelled through the store before the renewal deadline shown there. Manage or cancel it through your store subscription settings.
Uninstalling the app or resetting local data does not cancel a subscription. Cancellation generally stops future renewals; refunds and remaining access are determined by store rules and applicable law.
6. Daily rewards and character looks
Eligible users may collect daily rewards and participate in Lucky Layover. The daily limit is 3 draws for ordinary users and 10 for active members. Each draw has a 10% chance of an eligible exclusive look; otherwise it grants 2–5 coins. Already-owned exclusive looks are not granted again; when no eligible exclusive look remains, a coin reward is provided.
Where a rewarded-ad step applies, the required completion and closing callback must succeed before the reward is granted. Active membership removes the ad step for eligible check-ins and draws. Rewards have no cash value, and participation does not guarantee a particular look.
7. Local data and remote processing
App history and personalization are stored locally, while sent messages, relevant context, and sent images are processed by remote AI services. The Privacy Policy explains this processing. Clearing storage, resetting the app, or changing devices may remove local history and entitlements. Do not assume local data is backed up or that consumable coins can be restored.
8. Availability and intellectual property
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive right to use Rovio for lawful purposes under these terms. App software, branding, artwork, and other original materials remain the property of their respective rights holders. You may not reproduce or commercially exploit them except as permitted by law or with permission.
Features may depend on network access, store availability, and third-party AI services. We do not promise uninterrupted service or any particular AI response. We may change features or restrict misuse, subject to applicable law and existing paid entitlements.
9. Responsibility and consumer rights
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available without a guarantee that generated content will meet every expectation. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits mandatory consumer protections. Disputes and remedies remain subject to applicable law, including mandatory protections in your country of residence.
10. Changes and contact
